Lamborghini promotional packaging design
Aim: Create a new and luxurious branded packaging format for presenting Lamborghini’s marketing material and information about their new sports car, Aventador.
Strategy & Tactic: Through considered and innovative cardboard engineering, promote the importance and emphasis the luxury motor vehicle’s brand places on design.
Target Audience: Current and prospecting Lamborghini customers, Europe.
Design: Agencies Burgopak Germany and Lean Design GmbH worked in conjunction together to develop a slick, matt-black ‘diagonal box.’ The structural design features sharp angular lines that mimic the core aesthetic of Lamborghini’s contemporary range of super cars. The design also includes a magnetic closure that further creates the impression of a closing car door. The prominent diagonal ridges continue within the box’s interior, providing space for securely holding a booklet and USB stick.
End Result: The creative packaging design for Lamborghini was used as a giveaway at a range of industry trade fairs across Europe in 2011, including IAA and the Barcelona Motor Show.
